Welcome.
We are responsible for managing council homes on behalf of
Newcastle City Council. We were set up to make sure all council homes in
Newcastle reach the Government's Decent Homes standard by 2010.
There are 5 sections to our website;
- Your home (information directly relevant to your tenancy
or leasehold, including paying rent, reporting repairs, and YHN's Modern
Homes programme)
- Your services (information about the complementary
services we provide)
- Your estate (information about neighbourhood housing
activity and our network of Community Housing Offices)
- Your Homes Newcastle (information about us, our Board and
how tenants and leaseholders shape what we do)
- Finding a home (information about applying for housing
with Your choice homes)
Get on Board - we are currently looking for tenant members
for the main board and area boards, and for independent members of our three

Your Homes Newcastle celebrated the hard work carried out by tenants at
an Oscar-style award ceremony which was held on 18 July 2007 at St James'
Park Football Club.
After months of nominations and deliberations agony aunt Denise Robertson,
from television's This Morning, was on hand to present the Your Homes, Your
Stars - Good Neighbour Awards.
